Deborah Kay Briggs English, 76, of Lone Oak, died on June 3, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Wills Point. She was born on September 11, 1949, in Tyler to Raymond Ray Briggs and Marjorie Rue Sherwood Briggs.
Mrs. English was a graduate of Rains High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Alba. She spent most of her life in the Alba area before moving to Lone Oak 20 years ago.
She enjoyed attending NASCAR races, especially when her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon, was competing. She was an avid fan of professional bull riding (PBR) and loved watching her favorite television series, Downton Abbey.
Mrs. English is survived by her two daughters, Robin Campbell of Wills Point and Amy Heddin of Alba; sister, Katherine Fansler and husband Dale; nieces and nephews, Morgan Langston, Kory Briggs, Heather Leach, Devin Fansler and Zachary Fansler; grandchildren, Marlan Campbell, Jamie Heddin and Jordan Campbell; great-grandchildren, Natalee, Aiden, Journey, Kacelyn, Zayn and Remi; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger English; brother, Kenny Briggs; an infant daughter; and son-in-law, Wesley Foster.
