Judy Carol Carson

1953 – 2026

Judy Carol Carson, 72, died peacefully at home on May 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 21, 1953, to Burlin and Nellie Roberts, she was the youngest of 15 children.

Mrs. Carson attended school in Rains County, and embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. Whether behind the wheel as a truck driver, at the assembly lines of TI, serving customers at Safeway, managing a busy office as a secretary, or providing care through house cleaning, she took pride in her work and met each challenge with determination. She was always there for her daughters and supported them. She was known for her fun-loving spirit and her captivating storytelling.

Ms. Carson is survived by her daughters, Julie Klutts (Steve Bannister) of Quinlan, and Ashley Carson of Fort Worth; siblings, Clarence Roberts of Point, Donna Strebeck of Emory, Johnny Roberts and wife Elaine of Rowlett, Betty Morrow and husband Merel of Emory, and Shirley Gavin and husband Charles of Arkansas; grandchildren, Brittany Gillis, Dillon Rogers, Devin Ray Miller, and Emberly May Miller; and great-grandchildren, Layla Goodson, Delilah Bednar, Williow Bednar and Atticus Bednar. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eugene Roberts, Thelma Lee, Geneva, James (Doc), JR, Helen, Billy Wayne, Joyce, and Harold Ray; great-grandson, Brayden James Goodson; and brother-in-law, William Ray Strebeck; and son-in-law, Bobby James Rogers.
