Yolanda Emerline

A memorial service for Yolanda Emerline, 75, of Emory, was held March 7 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. John Klopfenstein officiated.
Mrs. Emerline died on March 5, 2020, at home with her family around her. She was born on September 26, 1944, in San Benito to Isabelle Martinez Padilla and Petra Fonseca, one of five children.
Mrs. Emerline worked as a nurse’s aide while studying every night. Her diligence paid off when she graduated school and became a registered nurse.
Mrs. Emerline was a devoted wife, dedicated mother and a hard worker. She loved her family and gatherings with everyone there to eat, laugh and enjoy each other.
Mrs. Emerline is survived by her husband, David Emerline of Emory; daughters, Sarah Klopfenstein and husband John of Emory, Janie Elizabeth Nehmzjw and husband Gill of Winnsboro, Missy Emerline of Mountainburg, Ark., Debbie Fischer and husband Kurt of Emory; son, David Arnold Emerline; 22 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and numerous other family members.
