William Keath

1939 – 2025

Funeral services for William Keath, 86, of Emory, will be held on Friday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m., at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Keath died on November 1, 2025, in Greenville. He was born on July 13, 1939, to Norman Ray and Cynthia Margaret Keath (Gross), in Independence, Kansas.

After high school, he answered the call of duty and proudly served in the United States Navy for three to four years. Following his honorable discharge, he lived life with a kind spirit, never meeting a stranger along the way. 

Mr. Keath was a member of the League Street Church of Christ since 2014. His faith was an integral aspect of his life, guiding him through his various pursuits and passions.

He found joy in nature. A true outdoorsman at heart, he loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed sports, especially going to see his grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing. 

His proudest accomplishment was his family. He instilled values of kindness, love and a legacy that will continue for generations. 

Mr. Keath is survived by his children, Shanna Elaine Moore and William Glen Keath; grandchildren, Alisha Marie Netz and Tony, and Cameron Gabriel Keath Headrick; great-grandchildren, Case Anthony Netz, Caleb Ray Netz, Colter Lee Netz, Jacob Roy Netz, and Brigid Ann Ruth Netz; and siblings, Kay Sellers and James Keath.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Keath; second wife, Mary Helen Keath; his parents; siblings, Mary Woods, Nancy Wellington, Margaret Coon, Marilyn Roark and Leland Keath.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m., at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
