A Celebration of Life for Victor “Migs” Miguel Velazquez, Jr., 5, will be held on Wednesday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m., at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall. He died on March 23, 2023. He was born on December 16, 2017, in Dallas, to Dominique Guerra and Victor Miguel Velazquez, Sr. Migs marched to the beat of his own drum and had his own special language. His creativity led him to build sculptures of his day. He loved being outdoors in nature, rocks, tires and not wearing shoes. He will be forever in our hearts.
Migs is survived by his parents; brother, Jayden; sisters, Penelope and Eliana; grandparents, Dimas and Dinora Guerra, and Delfino and Maria Velazquez; aunts, Tina and husband Salvador, Ruthie, Jessica and Amy; uncle, Marco and wife Julianna; and a host of cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Dimas Guerra, Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4.
