Graveside services for Vicki Nicholas, 68, of Grand Saline, will be held on Monday, January 16, at 1:00 p.m., at Sand Hill Cemetery in Gilmer, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home in Grand Saline.
Mrs. Nicholas died on December 30, 2022, at her residence in Grand Saline. She was born on November 16, 1954, in Dallas, to Vernon Wayne and Louise Ann Pickard Green. She was baptized into the Baptist faith and lived most of her life in Gun Barrel City, before moving to Grand Saline in 2003. On July 11, 2007, she married John Nicholas in Grand Saline. She worked for many years as an LVN in several East Texas nursing homes.
Mrs. Nicholas is survived by her husband of Grand Saline; sons, Joseph “Joe” Anderson of Miami, Florida, Michael C. Price of Oregon, and David Price of Emory; daughter, Christy Belknap of Santa Clarita, California; brother, James Green of Tyler; sister, Carolyn Green of Tyler; granddaughter, Lilly Price; stepson, Andrew Nicholas of Jacksonville, Florida; stepdaughter, Helen Nicholas of Charleston, South Carolina; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
