Graveside services for Tommy Lynn Shedd, 78, of Emory, were held on March 22, 2023, at Turner Cemetery in Emory.
Mr. Shedd died on March 20, 2023. He was born on November 16, 1944, to Arvel Shedd and Versa Mae Courtney in Sulphur Springs. He married Tressie Ragland on April 14, 1962. They cherished 60 years together. He worked as a mechanic at Master Halco and was a member of Bright Star Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Shedd is survived by his wife; daughters, Jeanette DuFault, Tonnie Boone and Terry, Lissa Bandy and Rodney, and Dianna Shedd; granddaughters, Tina Crider, Dina DuFault, Rachel Sherrin, Ashley Boyd, Brittany Warren and Brittney Miller; grandsons, David Crider, Tommy Lewis and Brenden Davis; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Jacky Shedd and wife Jan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy Shedd, Dale Shedd and Larry Shedd; and sister, Dorothy Duncan-Powell.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
