Services for Tommy Joe Eubanks, 81, of Emory, were held on May 28, 2022, at Chapelwood Funeral Home in Nash.
Mr. Eubankis died on May 20, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with liver failure. He was born on June 21, 1941, to Joe Bert Eubanks and Myrtice Virginia Rounsavall in Texarkana.
After he graduated from Liberty-Eylau High School, he attended Technical Data Institute and began working at Red River Army Depot. He then went on to work as a Field Service Engineer with National Cash Register for many years.
Mr. Eubanks married Barbara Ann Ray on June 23, 1962, and they had two children, Pamela Ann and Jeffrey Scott. His work took the family to Omaha, Nebraska, Roanoke, Virginia, and Euless and Richardson, Texas.
He retired to be close to family in Emory. He enjoyed tending a few cows and donkeys on his place, camping with family on Lake Ouachita, and working on cars and tractors.
Mr. Eubanks is survived by son, Jeffrey and wife Marianne; their children, Timothy James and Scott McClain; granddaughter, Carolyn Ann Stout; grandson, Wilton Alan Stout and wife Meghan; brother, Ronnie Eubanks and wife Jo Ann; and their daughters, Rhonda and Amy.
He was preceded in death by his wife; and daughter.
