Graveside services for Terry Josephine Drown Gipson, 71, of Lone Oak, were held on December 20, at Weiland Cemetery in Greenville.
Mrs. Gipson died on December 17, 2022, at her home. She was born on January 1, 1951, in Dallas, to Paul Madison and Betty Ann Strong Drown. She spent the last 29 years in Hunt County where she served as a member of the Lone Oak School Board.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jack Gipson of Lone Oak; two sons, Jeffrey Gipson and wife Kristen of New Mexico, and Jacob Gipson and wife Amber of Dallas; daughter, Jennifer Fry and husband Micah of Lone Oak; two brothers, Paul Drown and wife Cheryl of Austin, and Richard Drown and wife Penni of Emory; two sisters, Kelly Alamo and husband Gary of Colorado, and Becky Cobb of Richardson; five grandchildren, Ava, Max, Olivia, Vivienne and Jack; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Charles Paul; and grandson, Gus Fry.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
