Statewide allocations down while local allocations up

While the State of Texas saw an 11.7-percent decline in sales tax allocations statewide, Rains County and the cities of Emory, East Tawakoni and Point saw significant increases in percentage of money being returned in June from the Texas State Comptroller’s Office compared to last year.
