A funeral service for Mr. Scott Anthony English, 54, of Alba, was held on December 26, 2023, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, with Algia Allen officiating. Pallbearers were Isaiah English, Joseph McIntosh, Johnny Wood, Keith Nun, Luke Wood and Chris Ussery. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery.
Mr. English died on December 21, 2023, at his home in Alba. He was born on August 4, 1969, in Tyler, to Kenneth and Frances Wood English. He was raised in Alba, moved to Dallas when he was 20, and then recenlty moved back to Alba. He enjoyed traveling and being on the lake during holidays. He loved his family so much, but especially adored his mother.
He is survived by his mother, Frances English of Alba; nephew and niece, Isaiah English and Tagen English; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth English (April 2, 2013), and brother, Shane English (November 27, 2012).
