Rosita Nummerdor

1929 – 2021

A memorial service for Rosita Nummerdor, 91, will be held in Waupun, Wisconsin, at a later date.  

Burial will be at the Forest Mound Cemetery.

Mrs. Nummerdor died on February 27, 2021. She was born in the Philippines on September 9, 1929. She married Clayton Nummerdor in November of 1952. They met while he was stationed in Japan during the Korean War and they moved to the United States in 1954. They resided in Waupun, Wisconsin, until moving to Emory in 2002 to be closer to the grandchildren. They became members of Shady Grove Baptist Church and celebrated 65 years of marriage together. 

Mrs. Nummerdor never met a stranger. She was a dear friend and was like a loving mother to many, always giving the best and most sincere hugs. She loved to garden, cook and sew. She and her husband enjoyed camping and fishing. They were always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. They spent most of their winters at Big Pine Key, Florida, with friends of the RV park community and church.

Mrs. Nummerdor is survived by daughter, Rosemary Newland and husband Tim; sister, Kikue Mori and brother, Yoshiro Mori,  both of Japan; grandchildren, Grace Bull and husband Tommy, and Petre, Elena, Simeon and Emma Petrini; great-grandchildren, Eva Petrini, Rebekah, Resalea and Josiah Bull; and many beloved nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth  in 1972, husband in 2018; parents, Yoshi and Sabina Mori; and brothers, Vicente, Rafael and Jim Mori.
