Funeral services for Robert Parker, 81, will be held on Friday, September 6, at 2:00 p.m., at Freedom Church of God. Reverend David Hamm will officiate. Interment will follow at Arbala Cemetery.
Mr. Parker died on August 28, 2024. He was born on March 12, 1943. He was a police officer, serving in various locations including Dallas, West Tawakoni, Quinlan and Louisiana.
In addition to his distinguished career in law enforcement, he was also a devoted preacher, sharing his faith in Oklahoma and Louisiana. He also enjoyed collecting lighthouses.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at Freedom Church of God.
