Graveside services for Roba Dwain “Bob” Tullos, 90, of Yantis, were held on February 24, at Salem Cemetery in Alba. Dr. Mark Neeley officiated.
Mr. Tullos died on February 17, 2023, at his residence in Yantis. He was born on May 10, 1932, in Crockett, to Robert Montalbin and Gertrude Elizabeth Hamlin Tullos.
He married Mary Francis Kelso on December 28, 1950, in Quanah. He was the owner and operator of an automotive transmission shop. He had lived in the Alba area for 16 years.
Mr. Tullos is survived by sons, Donald Roy Tullos and wife Teddy of Stephenville, Jonathan Timothy Tullos and wife Peggy of Stephenville, and Clinton Edward Tullos of Yantis; daughter, Kathleen Carruth and husband Max of Quitman; brothers, Freelan D. Tullos and wife Betty of Lindale and Bill Tullos and wife Betty of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 61 years; son, Roger D. Tullos; and sister, Bobby Jean Wooldridge.
Services were under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
