RISD halts instruction

Friday evening, October 9, Rains Independent School District (RISD) Superintendent Jennifer Johnson issued a statement that due to recent positive tests of COVID-19 and direction from the State Health Department, RISD is suspending all instruction for Pre-K through 12 and closing their Child Development Center through Thursday, October 22.
