A celebration of life for Richard Charles Drummet, 88, will be held at a later date.
He was interred in Lake Fork Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Drummet died on March 31, 2020. He was born on September 16, 1931, in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He had been a resident of Rains County for 20 years. He served in the U.S. Navy as a jet fighter pilot with one tour in Korea and three tours in Vietnam. He received his master’s degree, and taught History in California for 15 years. He was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church.
Mr. Drummet is survived by his wife of 61 years and the love of his life, Carol Drummet of Emory; two daughters, Susan Stilwell and husband Derek of Virginia, and Marcia Robinson and husband Greg of Emory; sister, Marcia O’Neal of California; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
