A private family gathering will be held for Rance Byrd Gowin, 48, at a later date. Mr. Gowin died on July 3, 2023, at Mountainview Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on January 11, 1975, in Greenville, to Pryor Gowin and Kathryn Harvey Gowin.
Mr. Gowin’s career in the plastics industry began at Rubbermaid and continued at Airborn for many years. He was an expert in Fanuc Roboshot Milacron injection molding machines and traveled internationally to support his customer’s needs. He enjoyed riding trails on his side by side, mudding and spending time with friends and family.
Mr. Gowin is survived by his father; daughter, Shayla Marie Gowin; brothers, Shane Gowin and wife Carol, and Greg Gowin; granddaughters, Serenity Michelle, Anna Faye and Reva Joy; step grandchildren, Zander, Jameson and Isabella; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; special cousins, Angie and Lorie; close friend, Sam; and extended family, Carlie and Ashley Latham.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and sister, Shalla Elaine Gowin.
