A graveside service for Patsy Ruth Stubbs Alexander, 89, of Richardson, will be held on Saturday, October 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Emory City Cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander died on September 21, 2022, of natural causes. She was born on February 24, 1933, to J. L. Stubbs and Lois Robertson Stubbs in Emory. She married her elementary school sweetheart, Frank Goff Alexander, in Emory on June 12, 1955.
Mrs. Alexander was a mother, grandmother and teacher, spending most of her career in the Richardson Independent School District. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, crossword puzzles, traveling with her husband and family vacations with her children and grandchildren. Everyone who knew her considered her to be gracious and kind.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband; son, Steven Alexander and wife Cami; daughter-in-law, Jodi Alexander; grandchildren, Patrick Alexander, Chase Alexander and wife Caroline and Chloe Dale and husband Travis; and great-granddaughter, Noelle, who came into the world just in time to meet her Mimi.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
