Graveside services for Mrs. Norma Johnson Cheek, 96, of Greenville, were held on March 3 at Lone Oak City Cemetery, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
Mrs. Cheek died on March 1, 2023. She was born on January 11, 1927, in Lone Oak, to Vernon and Johnnie Jones Johnson. She graduated from Lone Oak High School and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons, John Robert Cheek of Greenville, and Michael James Cheek and Debbie Counts of Greenville; sister, Jean Leach of Greenville; two grandchildren, Mandy Gale Kinsley of Wylie and Misty Lynn Cheek of Rockwall; three great-grandchildren, Lola Kinsley, Miles Kinsley and Jackson Cowell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 75 years, Billy Bob Cheek; and two brothers, Leighton Johnson and Merlo Johnson.
