Mayor Northcutt resigns

The City of Point has a new acting mayor. Recently approved by the Point City Council as Mayor Pro Tem, Stephen Cross will now take over all mayoral duties. Former elected Mayor Johnny Northcutt submitted a letter of resignation to Point City Secretary Angie Good on Tuesday, August 17.
