Memorial services for Mark Anthony McCain, 62, of Alba, will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Mark Howard officiating.
Mr. McCain died on May 26, 2023, at his residence in Alba. He was born on February 20, 1961, in Dallas, to James and Nina Rutherford McCain. He married Billie Carol Phillips in Irving. on February 14, 1981. They moved from Irving to Alba in 2016.
He worked as a plumbing engineer. He loved fishing and tournaments, and was always looking to win the big one, and also loved dove hunting. Family vacations to the beach and Disney World were things he treasured. He was a kindhearted man who was well liked and loved.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years of Alba; two daughters, Carol Blackwell and husband Bruce of Arlington and Susan Corley of Ft. Worth; two grandsons, Bruce and Finn; sister, Gayleen Leach of Stephenville; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cathey Wright.
