Private family services were held for Mamie A. Daugherty, 73, of Gilmer. Pastor Billy Smith officiated.
Interment followed in Emory City Cemetery.
Mrs. Daugherty died on July 22, 2020, in Longview. She was born on July 31, 1946, to Ardis Coleman and Virgie Haney Coleman in Sulphur Springs. She worked as a hairdresser/stylist.
Mrs. Daugherty is survived by her husband, Billy Daugherty; son, Kenneth Daugherty and wife Carolyn of Tyler; daughter, Shelley Clemens of Gilmer; grandchildren, Branton Clemens and wife Alexus of Longview, Jayce Clemens, Megan Daugherty, and Matti Daugherty; great-grandchild, Kinsley L. Clemens; and sister, Rachel Bassham and husband James of Sulphur Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and seven brothers.
