Linda Kay Childers

A funeral service for Linda Kay Childers, 77, of Grand Prairie was held November 23 at Clarks Chapel Church of God.
Interment followed in Lynch Cemetery.
Mrs. Childers died on November 19, 2019, at Texas Health Arlington Memorial. She was born on August 18, 1942, in Point, to Claude and Lota Rabe Cason. She married Billy Ray Childers in Edgewood, on November 23, 1957, and together they had three children. Mrs. Childers was the owner of an interior design store and drapery workroom.
She is survived by daughters, Tina Childers of Emory, and Deena Green and husband Bill of Golden, Colo.; son, Brian Childers and wife Amber of Arlington; sister, Margaret Ann Lair of Emory; brothers, Kenneth Cason and wife Anne of Emory, Paul Cason and wife Betty of Point, and Jerry Don Cason of Point; grandchildren, Casey, Tiffany, Corey, Carson, Ben and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Kameron, Emmett and Novie; sisters-in-law, Lena Cason and Margaret Cason; and numerous other loving family and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Preston Cason, Bobby Lee Cason and Joe Ben Cason; sisters, baby Maurine Cason and Christine Cason Hays; sister-in-law, Thelma Cason; brothers-in-law, Tommy Hays, Idus D. Lair and Clyde Riley.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
