Services for Leta Calder, 72, of Grand Saline, were held on February 22 at Roundflat Pentecostal Church. Bro. Homer Morgan and Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiated.
Mrs. Calder died on February 17, 2020, at her home. She was born July 1, 1947, in Fruitvale to Alfred Lewis and Lurilla Bell Morgan Stanley. She spent all her life in Grand Saline and Fruitvale where she was a medical aide and a member of Roundflat Pentecost Church. She married Wilbert Calder in 2004.
She is survived by her husband of Grand Saline; mother of Grand Saline; son, James Stanley Coats of Grand Saline; two daughters, Tammy Cummings and husband Tommy of Azle, and Melissa Thomas and husband Brad of Grand Saline; brother, Eddie Alfred Stanley and wife Sharon of Grand Saline; three sisters, Sharon Murphey, Louann Stanley and Toni Stanley, all of Grand Saline; three grandchildren, Taylor Davis, Brenda Coats and Aurora Coats; a great-grandchild, Roman Davis; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Calder was preceded in death by her father; three children, Tina Suzanna Watson, Kandy Lynn Watson and Jeffery Ray Watson; and twin brothers, Ricky and Vicky Stanley.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
