Graveside services for Larry Douglas Lonaker, 76, of Emory, will be held on Friday, October 21, at 1:00 p.m. at Salem Cemetery in Alba. Bro. Byron George will officiate.
Mr. Lonaker died on October 16, 2022, in Bonham. He was born on September 18, 1946, in Macon, Georgia, to Douglas Fairbank and Beatrice McConnell Lonaker. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He previously lived in Georgia, Ft. Worth and Alba. He worked as a mechanic and enjoyed watching old western movies.
Mr. Lonaker is survived by his two sons, Chad Lonaker and wife Amanda of Augusta, Georgia, and Shawn Lonaker of Carthage; two sisters, Pamela Nix and husband Gordy of Emory and Debra Bryant and husband Edward of Tyler; five grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Joyce Jennette Lonaker.
Services are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
