Funeral services for Justin Pellam, 28, will be held on Thursday, June 6, at 12:00 p.m., at Wilson Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Robert Burns will officiate. Burial will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on June 7, at 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Pellam died on May 28, 2024, in Point. He was born on August 29, 1995, in Greenville, to Larry and Sharon Pellam.
Mr. Pellam graduated from Rains High School in 2013. After pursuing some college education, he joined the US Marine Corps as a supply chain management specialist. He served for seven years and received numerous awards for his dedication and commitment. He was looking forward to pursuing higher education at A&M Commerce and becoming a kinesiologist.
He enjoyed golfing and crawdad fishing but his proudest accomplishment was becoming a devoted father to his son, Travis.
Mr. Pellam is survived by his son, Travis Pellam; parents; brother, Shane Pellam and Shayla Reed; nephews, Geovanni and Camden Pellam; and cousin and best friends, Jamie Lee Roden and husband David.
