A celebration of life will be held for Judy Kay Holland Gallimore, 73, at a later date.
Mrs. Gallimore died on March 1, 2021. She was born on July 29, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan, to Katherine Smith and was later adopted by Clarence and Irene Holland of Fort Worth. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. That is also where she met the man that would become her husband and best friend for 52 years, Richard Gallimore. She was wise, loving and generous, as well as a beloved Neenie to her grandchildren.
Mrs. Gallimore is survived by her three children, Shawn Gallimore and wife Carol of Princeton, Stacey Granhold and fiancé Keith Spangler of Paris, and Shannon Diers and husband Peter of Keller; grandchildren, Michelle St. John and husband Mikel, Courtney Shepherd and husband Robert, Zachary, Jacob and Madelyne Granhold, and Christopher and Kathryn Bird; great-grandchildren, Gideon Mikel St. John, Ava Grace Granhold, Paxton Joe Shepherd, and Baby St. John coming soon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, just 45 days before her.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
