Graveside memorial services for Mrs. Jannie Denham, 76, of Grand Saline, were held on February 5, 2024, at Ryan Cemetery in Jefferson County, with Bro. Gerald Denton officiating.
Mrs. Denham died on February 2, 2024, at Azalea Trail Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grand Saline. She was born on March 23, 1947, to James and Pauline Webster. She grew up in Pleasant Grove and married Wayne Denham in 1966. She spent most of her life working in the restaurant industry and owned and operated her own cafe, Big Sky Cafe, for several years in Ryan, Oklahoma. She always had a love for others that was evidenced in her caring for numerous family members, often putting their needs before her own. She enjoyed raising her great nieces and nephews and seeing her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria LaPrade and husband Ricky LaPrade Sr. of Grand Saline; two grandsons, Ricky LaPrade and wife Cindy of Grand Saline, and Kinney LaPrade and wife Caroline of Grand Saline; five great grandchildren, Beckett LaPrade, Turner LaPrade, Knox LaPrade, Rainey LaPrade and Jax Thompson; sister, Vicki Latimer of Point; brother, Aaron Webster and wife Nita of Byers; and brother Mikey Ray Young of Commerce.
Mrs. Denham was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Denham; sister, Cathy Bettis; and brother, Danny Webster.
