A funeral service for H.F. “Tub” Dollins, 85, of Sulphur Springs, was held on August 10 at Wilson Orwosky Funeral Home. Bro. Chris Horton officiated.
Interment followed at Lake Fork Cemetery. Jason Dollins, Chris Dollins, Will Graham, Jarret Bros, Dale Wheeler, Lorin Bros, Travis Sherwood and Matthew Cantrell served as pallbearers.
Mr. Dollins died on August 6, 2021, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. He was born on March 30, 1936, in Heavener, Okla., to William Omar Dollins and Bertha Mae Barnes Dollins. He married Connie Kerst on March 7, 1955, in Tulsa, Okla. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a truck driver until he retired. He was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church and was a member of the Mars Hill Lodge in Emory.
Mr. Dollins is survived by his daughter, Teresa Bros and husband Lorin of Bowie; son, Carl Dollins of Paris; grandchildren, Pamela Bros and husband Will Graham of Bowie, Jarret Bros and wife Megan of Bowie, Krystal Bros-Payden of Bowie, Jason Dollins and wife Audrie of Prosper, and Chris Dollins of Blossom; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Bevill of Tulsa, Okla. and Mildred Shaw of Houston; and brother, Paul Riggins of Edmond, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 2019; brothers, Bill Dollins and James Dollins; sisters, Bobbie Jean Naylor, Cleo Ridenouer and Wanda Weland.
