Flag retirement ceremony held

Members of Rabb Brothers Memorial American Legion Post 156 gathered on the courthouse square on February 21 to honorably retire over 400 old and weathered flags donated by residents and businesses in Rains County. Participating in the ceremony are (l-r) Ed Chalk, Commander, David Harvey, Veteran Service Officer, Gary Thomas, Flag Chairman, and Dan Curtis, Vice Commander.
