Memorial services for Ernest O’Clyde Cain, 89, of Emory, will be held at Emory Baptist Church on Saturday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Cain died on August 21, 2020, at his residence. He was born on January 4, 1931, to James D. and Ada (Kerr) Cain in Emory. He married Margaret Helen Darrow in Dallas. He worked as an electronic engineer at Hunt Electronics for over 20 years before retiring. He loved to golf and traveling in his RV. He served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955.
Mr. Cain is survived by his children, Michael Lynn Cain and Jamey Dee Cain; a sibling, Mary Alice White; and grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Dara, Desiree and Christopher Cain.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and siblings, Everett Wilson, Jimmie Cain, and Don Cain.
A visitation will be held at the church, one hour before the memorial service.
