A funeral service for Ella Wayne Clark, 81, was held on November 17, at Smyrna Union Church Cemetery. Interment followed in Smyrna Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark died on November 14, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 12, 1943, to Troy Truett Hogue and Minnie Lee Ivie. She married Leon Clark in 1963.
Her greatest joy was caring for others. She was always there for important moments, whether attending all ball games or making sure no one went hungry. She made sure everyone was well-fed and well-loved. She lived a life filled with cherished memories of time spent with family and friends.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her spouse of 61 years, Leon Clark; children, John Troy Clark and wife Lisa, Leann Gaston and husband Mike; grandchildren, Holli Cooke and husband Tyson, Sara Pitchford, John McAree and wife Misty, Heather Hartke and husband Jon, Jake Gaston, Shay McAree, and Tyler Clark and wife Paula; great-grandchildren, Jax Gaston, Rhett Cooke, Madilynn McAree, Leon Hartke, Riley Cooke, Jase McAree and Wyatt Clark; nieces and nephews, Cherry Alexander and husband Philip, Stanley Garner and wife Roxanne, and Joey Garner and wife Juli.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Martha Garner.
