Edna Renee (Nelson) Collier, 90, died on Monday, February 20, 2024. She was born on December 26, 1933, in Point, to Thomas Jeff Nelson and Maudy Ophelia Nelson. She graduated from Point High School and Rutherford Business College.
Throughout her life Mrs. Collier participated in various hobbies and interests including girls basketball in high school, and Future Homemakers of America. She attended Sunnyvale Baptist Church and was part of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Mrs. Colliers is survived by her daughter, Felicia Collier-Melton; grandchildren, Andrew Michael Melton (Rachel), and Sarah Alane Contreras (Dan); great-grandchildren, Leiaha, Levi, Addy and Thomas; and brother, Thomas Wesley Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Farris “Glen” Collier; and sisters, Daisy Keeton and Letha Mae.
