Earnestine “Tena” Dittman Florez, 86, died on June 8, 2024. She was born on March 14, 1938, in Emory, to James “Ned” Dittman and Sally Ray Dittman.
Mrs. Florez’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a devoted member of Lake Fork Baptist Church. Her kindness, compassion, and faith were a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Stewart (Ronnie Bednar) of Emory; grandson, Shane Nunn (Bree); granddaughter, Felicia Stewart, both of Emory; three great-grandchildren; brother, James Dittman; sisters, Fannie Hill of Emory and Joyce Smith of Sulphur Springs; and a niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Robert and Dean Robertson, sister, Thomasene Payne; and brother, Jack Dittman.
