A memorial service for Donna Smith Beaird, 63, will be held on Tuesday, July 16, at the Rose Community Center, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Beaird died on June 24, 2024, in Maysville, Georgia. She was born on October 20, 1960, in Dallas, to Truman and Margaret Smith.
Mrs. Beaird graduated from Rains High School in 1979, and dedicated most of her adult life to working as a waitress and cook, and most recently she served as cook for the patients and staff at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. She was known for her exceptional pie-making skills and her delicious pies were beloved by many at restaurants in Emory and Lake Fork.
She married Scott Beaird and they were married for 11 years. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s school events and extracurricular activities.
Mrs. Beaird is survived by her husband; her mother; son, Nathan Wade and wife Dana; daughter, Nicole Timmons and husband Jerry; sister, Rhonda Case; four grandsons, Carter, Micah, Jase and Nate; granddaughter, Alaina; and many extended loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; and brothers, Teddy and Ricky Smith.
