Deborah Ann Ray Daugherty, 61, died on January 8, 2022, at her residence in Alba. She was born on May 13, 1960, in Kilgore, to Arvil Turner Ray and Patsy Ann Dobbins Ray. She moved from Kilgore to the Lake Fork area five years ago. She worked as an occupational medical technician and went above and beyond helping her patients. She brought a light and joy to people when they were down and out with their own suffering and illnesses.
Ms. Daugherty is survived by her father of Mississippi; daughter, Kippie Moore; brothers, Rickey Ray, Sr., and Rickey Ray Jr.; sister, Mary Minor; and five grandchildren, Zachary Daugherty, Jody Lee Daugherty, Jr., Makenna Daugherty, Ryleigh Daugherty and Nikke Moore.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and son, Jody Daugherty, Sr., who passed away in April 2021.
The family will be planning a joint memorial service for Deborah and Jody Daugherty, Sr. at a later date.
