A private grave side service for David Edgar Northcutt, 66, of Wolfe City will be held under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Cody Cox, Blake Lankford, Johnny Parish, Jeremy Gardner, Jason Pitts and Joel McKay. Honorary pallbearer will be Curtis Fuller.
Mr. Northcutt died on August 8, 2020, at home with his family. He was born September 2, 1953, in Grand Saline, to J.B. Northcutt and Cora Wallace Northcutt. He married Sondra Kay Ingram on June 14, 1974, at the bride’s home at Lake Tawakoni. He worked as a house mover and was a cattleman. He was a member of Point Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Wolfe City; sons, Nathan Ray Northcutt and wife Amber Renea, and Mark Northcutt; daughter, Marsha Northcutt; mother; brothers, Michael and Johnny Northcutt; sisters, Sandra Suits and Janet Holder; grandchildren, Ki Ann, Kassie Rae, Jasper Kern, Judd Allen, Evan David and Riley Renea; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandson, Jackson Edgar Northcutt.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pay your respects but limit contact with others per recommended guidelines from the CDC.
