A memorial service for Mrs. Cynthia Ann “Cyndi” Young Stinson, 66, of Alba, will be held on Saturday, January 22, at 2:00 p.m., at New York Avenue Church of Christ in Arlington. Eddie Stinson will officiate. The service is under the direction of the church and family.
Mrs. Stinson died on January 14, 2022, at her residence in Alba. She was born on July 5, 1955, in Ft. Worth, to W.L. and Laverne Thomas Young. She married Billy Bob Stinson, Jr. on June 15, 1973, in Arlington.
She worked at the Irving Regional Day School for the Deaf as the program secretary for 18 years. She traveled to Tanzania, East Africa, where she worked side-by-side with her husband as they worked as missionaries.
Mrs. Stinson is survived by her husband of 48 years of Alba; son, Larry Stinson and wife Carissa of Azle; daughter, Angela Martin and husband Chris of Arlington; sister, Alisa Boris of Azle; grandchildren, Julie, Tyler, Ronnie, Ethan, Cody and Laney; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
