Funeral services for Charles “Charlie” Legate, 81, of Point, were held at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel on January 27, 2022. Pallbearers were Steve Legate, Steven Legate, Chad Legate, Thomas Wiggins, Joe Francis and Terry Carter.
He died on January 24, 2022 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. He was born on March 15, 1941, to Woodrow Legate and Lizzy Morgan in Bogata.
Mr. Legate is survived by his son, Steve Legate and wife Debra; grandchildren, Steven Legate and wife Margie, Nikita Wiggins and husband Thomas, and Jack Rudder and wife Ashley; great-grandchildren, Korbin, Aioria, Lathan, Laine, and Ke’Andra; brother, Galen Legate and wife Kay; niece, Gala Francis; and nephew, Chad Legate.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
