Funeral services for Billy Robinson, 62, were held on March 25, at Wilson – Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Robinson died on March 20, 2026. He was born on May 17, 1963, to Miller Ross and Wanda Joyce Robinson.
Mr. Robinson was a skilled carpenter and created pieces that were not just functional but works of art. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He was an active member of the Shriners and a Master Mason. His faith as a Christian was a guiding light throughout his life. He recently discovered a love of gardening. One of his greatest passions was his motorcycles—especially his Harley, which he owned with pride and enthusiasm. To him, riding was freedom, adventure, and joy all wrapped into one.
He had two daughters that he adored and the wonderful families they had made for themselves and he delighted in his grandchildren.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his daughters, Courtney Joyce Thompson and Mitchell, and Candace Lois Byrum and Jeffery; grandchildren, Jasmine Byrum, Mason Pierce, Coby Byrum, Sadie Pierce and Grayson Thompson; cousins, CJ Robinson and Terry Bevill, and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Miller Wayne Robinson, Wendell Ray Robinson and Larry Robert Robinson.
