Funeral services for Betty Kile, 83, were held on August 26, at Emory Baptist Church. Interment followed at Emory City Cemetery.
Mrs. Kile died on August 22, 2025. She was born on July 4, 1942. She worked for many years as a special education teacher aide, where she was fondly called “Mrs. Betty.” She had a gift for nurturing children and made a lasting impact on countless young lives.
She was married to Robert Kile for 60 years and they built a home filled with love and laughter. Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Kent (Bekah) Kile and Grant (Brandi) Kile; grandchildren, Cadey and Briana Kile; siblings, Carolyn Johnson, Judy Hodges, Buddy (Donna) Robbins; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lindsey and Betty Robbins; brother, Richard Robbins; and sister, Marilyn Cloninger.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Life Center at Emory Baptist Church.
