Bennie Arlen Anderson, 74, died on August 20, 2023, in Greenville. He was born on May 24, 1949, in Tatum, New Mexico, to Walter Anderson and Gloria (Edelman) Anderson.
He had a successful career as a long-haul trucker and enjoyed exploring new places. He met Alice in 1985, and they were married on November 28, 1999. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, of Wills Point; sons, Chris Anderson and wife Sandie of Hallsville; Justin Anderson and wife Becca of Waynesboro, Virginia; and Steve Cornue and wife Susan of Haltom City; daughter, Tracy Cornue-Hernandez and husband Michael of Greenville; sister, Gigi Newton and husband Austin of Donna, Texas; and eleven grandchildren, Kaine, Ethan, Libby, Jason, Bailey, Jordan, Jaxon, Jace, Alison, Milo and Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Beverly and Brenda Doylene.
In lieu of a funeral service, his wishes were to be cremated and his ashes will be spread at a later date through a private ceremony.
