Memorial services are pending for Barbara Joyce York Cooksey, 61, formerly of Point.
Mrs. Cooksey died on January 29, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1959, to Joseph and Louise York, in McKinney.
She enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles and watching Arizona sunrises and sunsets. She was πtruly loved.
Mrs. Cooksey is survived by her mother of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Lynn Lewis and husband Trampus of Point, and Brenda Hanby of Sulphur Springs; son, Danny Lee Cooksey of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Mary Jo York of Denton and Sue Essary of Point; brother, Billy York of Point; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray Cooksey; and her father..
