A memorial service for Aiden Leon Thompson, 17, will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at The Diamond at Star E Ranch. Those who loved Aiden and want to be there are welcome to attend and wear red or spider-man attire.
Mr. Thompson died on January 14, 2025. He was born on September 9, 2007. He had a personality that lit up every room he entered and he was the go-to guy for fun. In the world of family wrestling, he had mastered the fine art of taking down anyone who dared challenge him, including his father and brother, both of whom inevitably regretted their life choices after a match with him.
He could sprint like he was being chased by a swarm of bees, play baseball with the finesse of a seasoned pro, and shoot hoops. He also loved to relax and play video games. He cared deeply for those around him and supported teammates on the field or was ready with a quick joke to lighten the mood and brighten the days of those around him.
He is survived by his father, Devin Thompson and Megan; mother, Cassandra Rojas; brothers, Dominic Gasca, Brooks Haynes, Nathaniel Thompson and Kashton Gasca; sister, Alivia Thompson who shared a very close bond with Aiden; grandparents, Billie and Billy Swope, Tina Rojas, and Jonathan and Cathy Haynes; great-grandparents, James and Barbara Haynes; aunts and uncles, Ariel Rojas, Randy and Pam Cole, and Ricky and Kristin Cole; and girlfriend, Amelia Sublett.
He was preceded in death by his grandparent, Sherry Allen.
