Rose Virginia Wyman, 82, died on February 6, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 11, 1942, in Gilmer, to Wyatt Pope and Pearl (Bray) Pope.
Mrs. Wyman’s lifelong commitment to teaching touched the lives of countless students and left a lasting impact on her community. Mrs. Wyman had an ability to inspire young minds and instill a love for literature and the English language. Her students respected and admired her because she genuinely cared about their well-being and success.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her grandchildren brought immeasurable joy into her life. She was proud of them, celebrating their accomplishments with enthusiasm.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wyman; daughter, Robin Nichols; sons, Christopher Wyman and wife Karen, and Eddie Wyman; grandchildren, Jason Nichols and wife Megan, and Clayton Wyman; great-granddaughters, Klara Nichols and Amelia Nichols; brothers, Tony Pope, and Roy Pope and wife Karen; nephews, Scotty and Mark; and nieces, Candace and Cortney
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Wyman; and her parents.
