A private family viewing will be held for Brenda Lee Dickinson, 59, formerly known as Brenda Lee Brennan, on Thursday, August 3, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel. Mrs. Dickinson died on July 22, 2023, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. She was born on August 17, 1963, to Gerald Brennan and Louise Fisher in Chicago, Illinois.
Mrs. Dickinson worked as a cook at the nursing home. She was hardworking and dedicated, making sure that everyone’s needs were met.
She met James Dickinson when he mowed her lawn and they soon became inseparable. They married on August 4, 1981 in Sherman. They rebuilt a truck together, spending many years on the project. They spent years experiencing new hobbies and activities together. She enjoyed domestic life and being by her husband’s side.
Mrs. Dickinson is survived by her husband; sons, James Earl Dickinson II, Daniel Lee Dickinson and Michael Allen Dickinson; daughter-in-law, Jenny; parental figures, Antonio and Nikki Keifer; granddaughter, Reagan Dickinson; and mother-in-law, Lea May Weatherly.
She was preceded in death by her son, Calvin Dickinson.
