Loyd Thomas McGary, 79, died on December 25, 2022, in Sulphur Springs, of complications related to COVID. He was born on November 14, 1943, in Big Springs, to Maggie Laura Copeland and Johnny William McGary.
He is survived by two daughters, Betty June Bass and Maggie Drake of Killeen; brother, Floyd McGary of Sulphur Springs; Belle Edwards of Winnsboro; Barbara Long of Madisonville; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth McGary; one brother; and five sisters.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
