Services for Raymonda Joan Seay Hass McBride, 80, of Alba, were held on November 3, 2022, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home. Chaplain Robert Stovall officiated. Interment followed in Pilgrim Rest #1 Cemetery, Emory. Serving as pallbearers were Donnie Burge, David Burge, Brandon McBride, Tim Westervelt, Jason Hass, Gabe Hass and Clay Hass.
Mrs. McBride died on October 29, 2022, at her home. She was born on August 10, 1942, in Farmersville, to Thadeus Lee and Nellie Beatrice Woods Seay. She spent most of her life in Alba, where she worked as a manager for Pay-N-Save and Alba Parts for many years. She loved the Lord. She was very creative and she especially enjoyed her ceramic business, Joan’s Ceramics, and being a seamstress. She worked hard, was always friendly and truly loved animals.
Mrs. McBride is survived by her daughters, Leanna Burge and husband Ronnie of Alba, and Jayna Fountain and husband Bruce of Alba; son, Dennis McBride of Alba; sister, Dexie Gilbert of North Richland Hills; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and her beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, W. T Hass, Jr. and Johnnie McBride; brother, Jackie Seay; and sisters, Peggy Addington, Joyce Armstrong and Wanda Hass.
