A memorial service for Michelle Spataro, 52, of Emory, will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Believer’s Baptist Church in Emory. Dr. Jason Rolen will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be the Emory Volunteer Fire Department and her Rains High School Students. There will be no formal visitation.
Mrs. Spataro died on Tuesday, April 4, 2022, at her residence. She was born on July 15, 1969, in Sherman, to Maurice Martin and Lynda Madison Martin. She married Frank Spataro on May 31, 2014, in Rockwall. She worked as a school counselor for Quinlan ISD, Rains County ISD, Community ISD and Greenville ISD.
Mrs. Spataro is survived by husband of Emory; father, Maurice Martin and wife Kathy; step-sons, Aaron Spataro and fiancé Abigail Hudson, and Jake Spataro and wife Lauren; step-daughters, Sirena Speed and husband Dustin, and Magan Henderson and husband Timmy; grandchildren, Harley, Hannah and Paxton Speed, and Eisley and Finn Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and brother, Steve Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rains County Good Samaritan, 220 Doris Briggs Pkwy, Emory, TX 75440.
