Funeral services for Larry Lewis, 81, of Emory, were held on August 12 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Steve Couch officiated.
Mr. Lewis died on August 8, 2021, at his home in Emory surrounded by family. He was born on January 25, 1940, to Edward Fay Lewis and Louise Tethloff in Columbus, Ohio. He married Linda Lamb on November 27, 1995. He was very involved with the veterans of Rains County. He helped place the flags around local businesses and drove veterans to the doctor. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife; daughter, Melissa Gudgel; sons, Tim Lewis and Rick Lewis; grandchildren, Haley Clark and Preston Williams; and sister, Donna Walker and husband Brad.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mark Lewis; and sister, Kay Thomas.
